I look awesome! It's raining, it's cold, and I'm wearing an orange vest. Who could ask for anything more?

Good morning Vickie! This is Stacie Boyd... First off, let me just say that the orange vest really agrees with you! I think it's wonderful that you're away learning and experiencing fun new things... what has been your biggest challenge so far/

Stacie...the biggest challenge I have faced so far is wearing big black boots, carrying heavy equipment (hammer, nails, rolls of measuring tape etc.), and trying to wade across the river filled with oozing mud. I didn't want to be the teacher who fell in the muck. Apparently people have fallen into the mucky river before!

Dear Vickie, I think you look great! I'm so happy you didn't fall into the muck. Why do you have to where big, black boots? Wouldn't it be better to where hip wadders like fishermen do? Connie

Thanks for the compliment on my boots Connie. The type of boots fisherman wear are loose and are made so people can stand in the water and fish. The boots I was wearing are for walking miles through thorny bushes, poison ivy, heavy underbrush, and muddy, swampy areas. They are thick and sturdy to withstand almost anything.
